These Boots (were made for walking!) Day 30

It’s the final day of the 30-Day Husband Encouragement Challenge. Life feels like its been stuck on fast-forward for the past month…wait, did I say a month? I meant a year!  So, it’s been very telling to take time to purposefully examine my marriage and my heart toward my husband. I’ve remembered some things I’d forgotten along the way, and learned new things about my husband…and myself. Here’s a look at what we’ve covered:

  1. You can’t say anything negative about your husband…to your husband…or to anyone else, about your husband.
  2. Say something that you admire or appreciate about your husband…to your husband…and to someone else, about your husband!

Over the course of this study, we’ve taken a look at topics such as: friendship; righteousness; humility; courage; balance; peace; parenting; words of affirmation; criticism; perspective; bitterness; joy; vision; praise; spirituality; integrity; intimacy; expectations; and commitment. All that and we’ve just begun to scratch the surface of the incredible blessing that God wants to cultivate in marriages. Walking the Christian life is about taking the next right step. I can either dig in my heels, or lace up my bootstraps. Sisters, whether the ones you love are walking with God, or stranded on the sidelines, there’s power in prayer. Today, is a new beginning. Grab your boots and let’s go!

“Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior
Jesus Christ.”

2 PETER 3:18a
