USED(to this)

“Thus says the Lord:
Stand by the roads, and look,
and ask for the ancient paths,
where the good way is; and walk in it,
and find rest for your souls.”

JEREMIAH 6:16a ESV

One more day…more of the same. I’m waiting for something to change. Sometimes Life is like a song stuck in your head. You know all the words, but their meaning has paled. Until the needle jumps the groove. Remember: this world is not our Home. Too often, we live out our days like a worn out record. Without a reason to the rhyme. Passion, pleasure, kill the pain. One more time now, to the refrain. Have we stopped looking for more? God’s Word holds the key to breaking free from the mindless loop we so often find ourselves in. Like a forgotten lullaby, His Word reaches deep to places inside our hearts that we must remember. Love. Purpose. Forgiveness. Peace. Let’s sing a new song as we look to Him.

  1. I hear what your saying and in the past few days have thought to myself, so many people are writing all these blogs on Christianity and our belief but how many are out there in real life reaching out to real people .. Don’t get me wrong I’m sure blogging reaches alot, but if everyone that blogged gave one hour a week and reached out at a local church or event it may have more impact on the local area and grow from there … just a thought!

    • I couldn’t agree more, Wendy. The Christian walk isn’t about knowing what to say, or looking the part. Authentic Christianity means taking off our masks and tearing down the pedestals. A relationship with Jesus Christ means being loved for who I am, the good, the bad, and the ugly. I’ve been broken and I’ve been downhearted, but during those times God’s love reached out to me. As believers, we are the hands and feet of God to a world that doesn’t know Him…yet.

      Many Blessings,
      Juniper
