Life (Is Good)

“With joy you will draw water
from the wells of salvation.”
ISAIAH 12:3 ESV

I am so grateful for today. For the liberty I enjoy. For the family I have. For the life I have been given. What I do with these blessings is my choice. That is another gift: freedom. How I live my life is up to me. Therein lay the most precious gift I can offer. “By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. But if anyone has the world’s goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God’s love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.” (1 John 3:16-18) So, in light of the irrevocable love that God has lavished on me, I will try to live a life of love today. What more can I offer?
